Cataloguers are encouraged to insert the names of specific medieval authors, artists, composers and other medieval ‘creators’ when the digital resource includes a significant amount of material by that author/creator. These include websites devoted to the works of a particular author (such as Thomas Aquinas, Chaucer, or Dante), but not index sites of many different medieval texts by multiple authors or sites of images depicting works by many different artists.

Users can search for these people by entering their name in the Medieval Author/Creator box on the Search Form.
