A Polish canon, chronicler and sometime diplomat. He served as secretary to Bishop Zbigniew Oleśnicki of Kraków, but was also frequently included in delegations to various negotiations on behalf of the Polish Crown. Shortly prior to his death, he was made Archbishop of Lvov.
