Robert Henryson was a Scottish poet in the mid-fifteenth century, who is among the group of poets of the time considered to be northern Chaucerians. Henryson was associated with Dunfermline Abbey and the University of Glasgow. He wrote three long poems (The Morall Fabillis of Esope the Phrygian, The Tale of Orpheus and Erudices his Quene, The Testament of Cresseid), as well as a number of shorter poems and fables. TLM
