Alternate names/spellings: Petrus Thomae
Dates: 1280 - 1340 ()
Peter Thomae was a master at the Franciscan studium in Barcelona. He may or may not have been a student of Duns Scotus in Paris but certainly saw himself as a follower of the doctor and became a key figure in the history of Scotism. After working for years at the Papal court in Avignon, he was accused of sorcery in 1336 and died in a Papal prison near Avignon several years later.
